In 1999, Novawest purchased and master-planned three contiguous parcels at Fox Run Meadows, a residential development located in a rapidly growing area midway between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Over a period of nine years, Novawest speculatively built and sold three unique high-end residences. The homes reflect the scale, character and contextual design of their surrounding environment.
Each of the three homes planned and built by Novawest were architecturally distinct. The value add for this project involved the placement of the home sites to blend with the rural landscape, taking advantage of passive solar gain opportunities as well as fitting the homes with modern features and amenities. Novawest was a market maker in this situation, pushing sale values for the neighborhood to more than 400 percent of previous trades.
